\u201cScience. Close to People\u201d<\/strong> is the motto of the 68th annu\u00adal confer\u00adence of the German Asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion for Medical Infor\u00admat\u00adics, Biom\u00ade\u00adtry and Epidemi\u00adol\u00ado\u00adgy (GMDS<\/a> e.V.). The confer\u00adence will be held from 09\/17\/2023<\/strong> until 09\/21\/2023<\/strong> in the inno\u00adv\u00ada\u00adtive science city Heilbronn<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to present your current research results to a broad profes\u00adsion\u00adal audi\u00adence and discuss them! Since inter\u00addis\u00adci\u00adpli\u00adnar\u00adi\u00adty is a partic\u00adu\u00adlar strength of the GMDS, inter\u00addis\u00adci\u00adpli\u00adnary and inter\u00addis\u00adci\u00adpli\u00adnary contri\u00adbu\u00adtions of any kind \u2014 in English as well as in German \u2014 are espe\u00adcial\u00adly welcome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord Mayor of Heil\u00adbronn, Harry Mergel, warm\u00adly welcomes all confer\u00adence guests in his welcoming address<\/a>. The Pres\u00adi\u00addent of Heil\u00adbronn Univer\u00adsi\u00adty, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Oliv\u00ader Lenzen, is also look\u00ading forward to an excit\u00ading, stimulating exchange of knowledge<\/a> in his welcom\u00ading address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Medical Infor\u00admat\u00adics course, which is locat\u00aded at Heidel\u00adberg Univer\u00adsi\u00adty and at Heil\u00adbronn Univer\u00adsi\u00adty, will cele\u00adbrate its 50th anniver\u00adsary in 2023 and will shape the confer\u00adence program.
