LIV: Learning, Informing, Networking — The Library on the Bildungscampus

Since its opening in October 2019, the LIV has taken a clear look at the future and focuses on innovation. Gain interesting insights in just 30 minutes on a guided tour of our LIV. A special feature of the library is that it is responsible not only for Heilbronn University, but also for the Baden Württemberg Cooperative State University, represented at the campus by the Heilbronn Study Academy and the Center for Advanced Studies, as well as for TUM at the Heilbronn campus.

Digitalisation, scarcity of resources, shortage of skilled workers — just a few buzzwords of the current social discussion. We will show you how LIV is facing these challenges in a half-hour guided tour with a focus on the use of RFID and recording technology.

Topic 3: Learning in the LIV. Workplace diversity for all

LIV. learn. Inform. network — this is the name of the library at the Bildungscampus. Why so much emphasis is placed on the aspect of “learning” and what working and learning situations can look like is demonstrated by the LIV at its more than 650 workplaces of various kinds and the numerous opportunities to spend time in the light-flooded glass building.

The tours will take place at the end of each session from 12.40 p.m. to 1.10 p.m. during the lunch break, leaving enough time for a visit to the cafeteria. Please note: The guided tours will all be held in German.
