Free use of local public trans­port includ­ed in the confer­ence ticket

Start the confer­ence days stress-free: Use public trans­port to get to the Bildungscam­pus. The confer­ence tick­et includes free use of buses, trains and trams in the city and district of Heil­bronn and some neigh­bour­ing districts.

On the offi­cial website https://www.h3nv.de/der-hnv you will find detailed infor­ma­tion about the scope of the public trans­port tick­et of the trans­port asso­ci­a­tion HNV (Heilbronner-Hohenloher-Haller-Nahverkehr). All rele­vant details and infor­ma­tion can be found there.

Event loca­tion Bildungscampus

The 68th GMDS Annu­al Confer­ence will take place at the Bildungscam­pus. The Bildungscam­pus hous­es 15 insti­tu­tions from the fields of educa­tion and science and offers a wide range of oppor­tu­ni­ties for life­long learn­ing. In addi­tion, the Bildungscam­pus is also archi­tec­tural­ly impres­sive. Expe­ri­ence a first person­al impres­sion your­self by taking the virtu­al campus tour.

Virtual campus tour

The follow­ing six campus build­ings will be used at the conference:

• Build­ing T (number 14): Confer­ence office, exhi­bi­tion, event rooms
• Build­ing S (number 17) and Build­ing N (number 12): Event rooms
• Build­ing R (number 15): Library LIV for poster exhibition
• AULA (number 6): Keynotes, event rooms
• FORUM (number 1): Event rooms

On the map, the stops of the city buses (Europaplatz, Hallen­bad Soleo) and subur­ban trains (Sülmer­tor, Tech­nis­ches Schulzen­trum, theatre) are marked. These are only a few minutes’ walk from the confer­ence build­ings. In addi­tion, signs will be placed at the rele­vant stops indi­cat­ing the way to the GMDS Annu­al Conference.

All venues of the social events (evening recep­tion at exper­i­men­ta, social evening at Harmonie, MI cere­mo­ny in the AULA on the Bildungscam­pus) are easi­ly acces­si­ble by public trans­port, so you can also enjoy the anniver­sary wine with­out any worries.

Note for rail trav­ellers arriv­ing via Mannheim: During the confer­ence there will be restric­tions on the RE 10a Neckar route. Instead, the RE 10b will run via Sinsheim. Please note the current Deutsche Bahn timetable and plan your jour­ney accordingly.
